This position exists to provide assistance and input to management; develop and lead large multi-functional development activities; solve complex technical problems, write complex code for computer systems and serve as a senior source of expertise.
Develop and Enhance the java based web search front end.Solid knowledge of Python and Java based frameworks (spring, hibernate, tomcat).
Solid understanding of XPath/XQuery.
Strong coder and experience with algorithm analysis and understanding of advanced data structures.
Search Analytics: Core skills: Experience working with large volumes of data for analytics
Requested Experience:
- 2+ years architecting and leading delivery of enterprise search projects and solutions
- Great knowledge and experience with FAST to architect, tune, develop and advise management on the technology
- Experience or training with the latest FAST releases such as FSIS, FSIA, FS4SP
- Integrating search solutions and configuration with Web Crawlers and the search front end
- Configuring Linguistic aspects of a search engine
- Relevancy and rank tuning
- You are hands-on across full-lifecycle projects
- Excellent communication skills, and happy to interact at all levels of the organization

LLB/ Commerce/ Economics Graduate – Between 1 to 4 years exp. Analyse source material. Prepare value added abstracts; carry out editorial enhancements and quality analysis of online content; production of print journals; Interest in varying subjects of economics, finance, world news, law, tax etc. required. |

Accountabilities |

Analyze source material, perform background research and describe topical highlights to enable enhanced customer access. |

• |
Perform high quality assurance tasks. Review accuracy and completeness of source materials, electronic conversions, and editorial content prior to publication. |

Review and analyse caselaws to identify disposition , language, points of law and determine precedential value to support Manupatra print and online legal research products. |
|
• |
Production of print journals involving selection of Judgments, writing/ vetting head notes, carrying our editorial enhancements, liaison with authors for articles, co-ordinating with vendors and freelancers for meeting deadlines, proof reading. |

Analyze and leverage the information and use it in various formats to create products which differentiate Manupatra in the market. |

Master software and editorial tools necessary to perform duties. |

Develop in-depth knowledge of product breadth and scope in order to make independent decisions regarding product content and editorial value-add. |
